Providing critical care with passion and purpose at Vets Now Worcester
Vets Now Worcester provides out-of-hours veterinary care for dogs, cats, and small animals. Our team works nights, weekends, and bank holidays to provide emergency and critical care for sick and injured small animals when they need it most.
Rewarding work, your way
Out-of-hours doesn’t mean all hours, and the flexibility and support we provide makes balancing life easier for many of our team. If you’re looking to pick up weekend hours or enhance your ECC skills, this role could be ideal. We’re looking for a Vet Surgeon to work 1:4 weekends (Saturday 1600-2200, Sunday 0830-1830), plus a share of bank holidays, on a fixed term basis.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
