Gap Group NE Ltd is a well-established and growing recycling company, committed to sustainable waste solutions and environmental responsibility. We are now seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator / Administrator to join our team at our Perth facility.
Role Overview
The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for accurately recording and processing vehicle weights, managing documentation, and providing professional customer service to drivers, suppliers, and contractors. As the first point of contact on site, you will meet and greet drivers and visitors, ensuring they are welcomed, directed appropriately, and fully briefed on site procedures and safety requirements. This role also includes general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the site.

Weighbridge Operations
- Operate weighbridge system to accurately record incoming and outgoing vehicle weights
- Generate and process dockets, invoices, and delivery documentation
- Verify load details and ensure compliance with site and environmental regulations
- Direct vehicle traffic safely within the facility
- Maintain accurate electronic and manual records

Administrative Duties
- Data entry and reconciliation of daily transactions
- Prepare reports for management (daily/weekly/monthly tonnage reports)
- Filing, record management, and document control
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer enquiries
- Liaise with drivers, customers, contractors, and internal departments
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience operating a weighbridge (preferred but not essential)
- Strong administrative and data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Good computer literacy (MS Office, email systems, and weighbridge software)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and problem-solving ability
- Understanding of recycling or waste industry (advantageous)

These are the indeed ones we have up, though I think they will already have the stores person by tomorrow and we think the weighbridge also, but still worth putting up. I am just sorting the advert for a mechanical engineering apprentice
