Weighbridge Security Officer
Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Weighbridge Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our manufacturing refinery plant. You will be joining our Pinnacle Workplace Security Team based in Bootle, Liverpool Docks L20.

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.
Role Overview
Your role will involve:
- Managing the weighbridge
- Monitoring premises
- Conducting regular patrols
- Responding to incidents
- Maintaining detailed reports
You will need to be observant, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet visitors, staff and contractors and manage the gatehouse environment.
- Weighbridge operator checks – check delivery paperwork and record the weight of lorries arriving and leaving the site
- Liaison with local authorities, including police, emergency healthcare services or even fire extinguishers in case of an emergency
- Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty.
- Operating a telephone switchboard

Key Requirements
- Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence
- Experience working a weighbridge and must be proficiency with weigh-software – UniWin & Savigent
- Basic IT applications, and digital devices.
- Access to own transport due to location & shift patterns
- Strong, clear communicator, as you will be using Radio Control
- Must be able to use and understand the Phonetic Alphabet
- Full 5-year UK checkable work history
Working Conditions
This is a Full-time Position working an average of 42 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, working 4 on 4 off rolling rota from 6.30am – 6.30pm days 6.30pm – 6.30am nights – must be able to do both shift patterns and will include weekends - transport is essential to access the site.
Please note: The contract ensures the site is operated 24/7 - 365 days of the year and will including working public holidays.
