About Us:
XL Scales Ltd is a specialist in the supply, service, and calibration of industrial weighing equipment across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a hard-working, hands-on Weighing Service Engineer to join our dedicated team.
The Role:
As a Service Engineer, you’ll be working in a field-based role carrying out the installation, servicing, repair, and calibration of weighing equipment. You’ll cover a wide variety of customer sites across the UK but mainly Norfolk, Suffolk, and Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and calibrate Industrial weighing equipment and related systems
- Complete required paperwork and service reports accurately
- Travel to customer sites across the UK
- Manual handling of equipment is a significant part of the role
- Work overtime as required to meet customer demands
What We’re Looking For:
- A practical, hands-on individual who isn’t afraid of physical work
- Willingness to travel and stay away overnight when needed
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Good communication and basic IT skills for reporting and paperwork
- Full UK driving licence (required)
