Job Title
Job Description Summary
As a Welcome Host at 1 King William Street, you play a key role in delivering a welcoming, people-first, hospitality-led experience for occupiers and visitors. This is an experience-focused role that brings together front of house service delivery, community engagement, communication and operational excellence. You will act as a visible and approachable presence within the building, ensuring that every interaction reflects our values and commitment to excellence. You will champion a customer-centric approach in day-to-day service, supporting occupiers to feel informed and connected, while helping to activate shared spaces and amenities in line with the wider experience strategy.
Under the guidance of the 1 King William Street, you will help bring the building to life: supporting events and engagement initiatives, maintaining premium service standards, and contributing insight and feedback that helps the experience evolve over time.
Job Description
To deliver a consistently high-quality, welcoming and customer-centric front of house experience that supports occupier satisfaction, wellbeing and connection at 1 King William Street.
As a Welcome Host, you will act as a key touchpoint for occupiers and guests - providing attentive service, clear communication and proactive support, while championing hospitality standards, community engagement and the building’s identity.
Your role is central to how the building feels day to day: calm, polished, human and people-focused.

- Act as a visible, approachable presence within the building, delivering a warm, professional and people-first experience.
- Champion premium hospitality standards across all occupier and guest touchpoints, anticipating needs and providing proactive, personalised support.
- Act as an occupier point of contact, resolving enquiries and issues to a high standard and escalating risks in line with compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with building management, facilities and central teams to align service delivery with occupier needs.
- Use formal and informal feedback to drive continuous improvement in the occupier and guest experience.
Operational Excellence & Coordination
- Champion service standards on shift, leading by example and supporting colleagues and cover staff to deliver consistently high-quality service.
- Coordinate daily front of house activity, under the guidance of the, ensuring smooth handovers, accurate information sharing and strong cross-team collaboration.
- Complete agreed checklists, logs and reporting to support operational consistency and insight.
- Escalate issues appropriately to relevant teams, keeping occupiers informed and supported throughout.
- Promote events and initiatives through daily interactions, encouraging occupier participation and connection.
- Build strong knowledge of occupiers, amenities and the local area to support a personalised, informed experience.
