Summary
As a Welcome and Service Team Member, you'll be at the heart of every visitor's experience at Sizergh, offering a warm welcome, sharing stories, and helping people make the most of their time with us. Whether you're greeting visitors, promoting membership, supporting events, or helping colleagues across the property, you'll play a key part in connecting people with the places we care for and ensuring every visit is memorable.
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Contract Duration: Fixed term until 31st October 2027
Working Pattern: This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. Although hours are not guaranteed, we expect to offer 2/3 days of work per week, however this may vary according to peak and off-peak periods, school holidays and absence cover. Weekend and Bank Holiday availability is essential, as well as some evening work during our Winter programme.
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.

You'll take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring every visitor feels valued and leaves with a positive impression.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
