We are looking for a welcoming, proactive and customer-focused Welcome Team Supervisor to lead and support our reception and café operations.
You'll play a key role in creating an excellent customer experience, supporting the day-to-day supervision of the Welcome Team and maintaining high standards across both front of house and catering functions. This is a varied role where you'll lead by example, ensuring every customer receives outstanding service while helping to drive customer satisfaction, promote our services and support the smooth operation of the centre.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the Welcome Team, providing guidance, training and day-to-day leadership.
- Deliver exceptional customer service across reception, membership, booking and enquiry processes.
- Ensure all visitors receive a warm, professional and welcoming experience.
- Support membership sales, activity bookings and customer retention initiatives.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks including barista-style coffee and light refreshments.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and compliance within café and customer areas.
- Monitor catering, retail and other income streams and help maximise revenue opportunities.
- Process payments accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
- Support centre events, activities and hospitality requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure the smooth operation of the centre.

Hours:
21 hours a week, Monday to Sunday (rota basis)

Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader or senior customer service role.
- Experience working in a leisure, hospitality, retail, café or customer-facing environment.
- Knowledge of membership, booking or reception systems.
- Experience preparing and serving food and beverages including barista-style coffee.
- Understanding of food hygiene, health and safety and customer service best practice.
- Experience handling cash and processing payments.
- Ability to support sales and contribute to achieving commercial targets.
- Relevant customer service, food hygiene or supervisory qualifications.
