A welding expert who enjoys solving problems and raising standards. Someone who is passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement and who wants to play a key role in delivering high-quality fabrication and pressure systems projects.

  • A trusted technical leader who can support production teams, influence best practice, and provide practical solutions to welding challenges across the business.
  • Someone who enjoys variety and collaboration, working closely with Quality, Production, Design, and Project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Location: Banbridge Feeder Sites

Hours: Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–3pm

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Responsible to: Quality Manager

What You'll be Doing

  • Provide technical leadership and authority across welding activities, advising on welding processes, fabrication methods, quality requirements, and best practice to ensure manufacturing excellence.
  • Develop, verify, and qualify weld procedures, maintaining accurate qualification records and technical documentation to support compliance.
  • Work closely with Production and Quality teams to resolve technical challenges, investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
  • Support customer audits, inspections, and technical reviews while championing continuous improvement to enhance welding quality, productivity, and performance.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure projects are manufacturing-ready and delivered safely to the highest standards, while developing welding capability through coaching, training, guidance, and technical leadership.
