Are you a skilled Welder looking for a hands-on role where quality, safety and teamwork really matter?
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Welder to join our Team. Based at our Kirkby-in-Ashfield site, you’ll support the fabrication, repair and maintenance of equipment used across our specialist piling and ground engineering operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Carry out welding, fabrication, cutting and repair work to a high standard, following drawings, work instructions and agreed specifications.
- Work safely with workshop tools, welding equipment and materials, maintaining a clean and organised working area.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality, safety and operational requirements.
- Support repairs and improvements to plant, equipment and fabricated components used across the business.
- Work closely with colleagues across the workshop and operational teams to help keep equipment ready for site use.
- Act in line with Van Elle’s values and support the wider team with any reasonable tasks required.

Who we're looking for:
- Previous welding or fabrication experience, ideally within a workshop, plant, construction, engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MAG and MMA welding is preferred; additional welding skills or relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
- The ability to read and work from drawings, measurements and job instructions accurately.
- A strong focus on health and safety, quality and attention to detail.
- A practical, proactive approach with good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Other Requirements:
- Eligibility to work and live in the UK.
- Flexibility to travel within the UK when required.
- A full UK-valid driving licence would be helpful but is not essential.
