Multi Axis Orbital GTAW Welders
Somerset, UK | Major Nuclear New-Build Project
Duration: Minimum 12 Months
G2 Recruitment are supporting a leading contractor on one of Europe's largest nuclear new-build projects and are looking to speak with experienced Multi Axis Orbital GTAW Welders for a long-term assignment based in Somerset.
Working on critical Nuclear Steam Supply and Auxiliary Systems, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant infrastructure project within a highly regulated environment.
Essential Requirements
- EN ISO 14732 Certified Operator
- Proven experience operating large bore 6-axis and/or 8-axis fully mechanised GTAW orbital welding systems
- Experience using Arc Machines and/or Liburdi equipment
- Background within nuclear, power generation, high-integrity piping, or similarly regulated industries
- Ability to complete client assessments and project-specific training

Project Details
- Location: Somerset, UK
- Duration: Minimum 12 months
- Rotation: 10 Days On / 4 Days Off
- Hours: 8 Hours Per Day
Security Requirements
Due to the nature of the project, candidates must be eligible to work within a UK nuclear environment.
Applicants must:
- Be able to satisfy all site vetting and security requirements
- Be eligible for site access and nuclear project clearance
- Ideally already hold the required UK security clearance and associated vetting
