Are you a skilled Welder/Fabricator looking for your next challenge? An automotive conversion company is seeking a new team member to join their growing workshop, helping to speed up the build process as they convert vehicles into fully equipped mobile food trucks.
Hours: Monday to Friday (07:00 - 16:00)
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform MIG and TIG welding
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components to required tolerances
- Ensure welded joints are clean, strong, and meet quality standards
- Use shop tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Carry out inspections and communicate issues early to avoid delays
- Get involved in coachbuilding

Experience Required
- Prior experience as a welder / fabricator in a workshop environment
- Competence in welding methods relevant to the work (MIG/TIG)
- Good attention to detail and pride in delivering neat, accurate fabrication work
- Ability to work from drawings and specifications
- Strong commitment to health & safety practices
- Reliable, team player with good communication skills
- Good hand and power tools experience
