We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our client based in Ivybridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in welding, particularly working with stainless steel, to join a friendly and supportive team environment.

The role is permanent, with a salary starting from £32,000 and open to discussion depending on experience.

Working Pattern:

  • 4-day working week available, with the option to work either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.
  • Working hours are 7am–5pm.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on stainless steel components, ensuring high-quality welds.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in MIG welding, ideally with a focus on stainless steel.
  • TIG welding experience would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good communication skills.
