Job Title: Welder / Fabricator (MIG & ARC)

Location: Shipston-on-Stour

Position: Straight Permanent

Salary: £16.00 - £21.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

Overtime: x1.3 during the week (over 40 hours), x1.5 on Saturdays

Are you an experienced Welder Fabricator looking for a secure, permanent role with an industry-leading business? We are a highly prosperous and growing company based in Shipston-on-Stour, specialising in the design and manufacture of high-end, bespoke steel windows and architectural metalwork. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled professional to join our workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricating high-quality, bespoke architectural steel windows and doors from technical drawings.
  • Utilizing MIG and ARC welding techniques to join thin and medium-gauge steel sections.
  • Cutting, grinding, drilling, and prepping steel components to exact tolerances.
  • Conducting self-inspection of work to ensure flawless finishes for high-end clients.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator, ideally working with architectural steel, windows, doors, or fine structural metalwork.
  • Confident ability to weld using both MIG and ARC processes.
  • Strong skills in reading and interpreting engineering or architectural drawings.
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing clean, neat welds and precise fabrications.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to commute to our workshop in Shipston-on-Stour.
