Job Title: Welder
Working Pattern
Rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoon and nights).

About the Opportunity
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a contract position at their Bristol Machining facility, within the Turbines sector. We are looking for a Skilled TIG Welder to join on a rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoon and nights).
Responsibilities
On a typical day as a Skilled Welder, you will be expected to:
- Engage in Health and Safety activity
- Produce components at the highest Quality
- Follow Manufacturing Instructions and Data Cards
- Work to meet high volume requirements
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Welding Nozzle Guide Vanes (NGVs) using Work Instructions, Technical Information & drawings
- Ensuring all Engine components are welded to the highest standard and are conforming to the required specification
- Working to set deadlines to achieve performance targets and Customer delivery commitments
- Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to a high standard, at all times

Requirements
- Completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship including City and Guilds, NVQ3/SVQ3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline. (Original trade papers must be available for review at interview).
- Experienced of TIG Welding to agreed standards is essential.
- Experience in working with Nickels/Steels and Alloys.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings (considered an asset).
- An up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH) and environmental procedures.
- Must hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
- Must be a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
