The below job description will outline this position of: Welder Fabricator
Typically, this person will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication work on a variety of marine vessels. This includes involvement in new build projects, refits, and maintenance, ensuring all welds meet required industry and client standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out welding on a range of marine structures and components (MIG, TIG, MMA)
- Work on new build vessels, refits, and repair/maintenance projects
- Fabricate and weld pipework, plate, and structural components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards and pass NDT requirements where applicable
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site

Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven welding experience within a marine or shipyard environment
- Competent in multiple welding processes (MIG, TIG, MMA)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Relevant welding qualifications/codeds (e.g. 6G, 6GR desirable)
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
