We need a welder to work for a well-established engineering firm in Ipswich, Suffolk. This will be a varied welding role, predominantly MIG welding but will also involve some TIG and use of fabrication machinery.
Working Hours: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 (weekly rotating)
Salary: up to £18ph (inclusive of shift allowance)
Contract: Long term contract (likely to be on-going)

To be successful for this role, you MUST be able to MIG weld mild & stainless steel. You will be required to work independently so it is essential that you can read and work from engineering drawings and comply with weld symbols and standards as required.
The company offers a fantastic facility that is a well-kept, clean workshop which follows lean manufacturing processes.
Welder fabricator duties include:

- MIG Welding from 2mm-15mm
- Fabricating with various hand & power tools
- Use of cutting, drilling & grinding machinery
- Always follow & adhere to the company's health and safety standards
MUST be a competent welder & able to work on your own initiative. We are only considering welders with 5+ years’ experience in the field.
