Welding & Fabrication Instructor – Worcester
Salary: £38,000 per annum | Full-time | Permanent
TR2 Recruitment is currently working with a leading Group Training Association in Worcester to recruit an experienced Welding & Fabrication Instructor to join their engineering training team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking to move into a training role, or an existing Engineering Instructor looking for a new opportunity to develop the next generation of skilled engineers.
The Role
As a Welding & Fabrication Instructor, you will deliver high-quality practical and theory-based training to apprentices, helping them develop the technical skills, knowledge and confidence required to succeed in the engineering industry.
You Will
- Deliver practical welding and fabrication training to apprentices
- Teach relevant welding processes and fabrication techniques
- Support learners through their qualifications and practical assessments
- Provide constructive feedback, mentoring and technical guidance
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Maintain high standards of workshop health and safety
- Help learners develop industry-ready skills and good working practices

About You
We are looking for someone with strong industrial Welding and Fabrication experience who is passionate about passing their knowledge and skills on to the next generation.
You Should Have
- Strong hands-on experience in welding and fabrication
- Experience with MIG, TIG, ARC/MMA or other relevant welding processes
- The ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in training, coaching and developing apprentices
