Welding Engineer
The core mission of a welding engineer is to follow in the footsteps of the customer and try to solve their welding problems as efficiently as possible with the resources we have at CQM Welding. A welding engineer is expected to be able to draw up WPSs and inspection plans based on imposed technical specifications and/or standards (ISO, ASME, AD, etc.). This also includes scheduling and following up on PQRs and welder qualifications (WPQs). In addition, you will provide support to the customer or on site for any welding-related questions that arise. You will also assist companies in obtaining EN1090 or EN ISO 3834 certification.
NDT Specialist
The core mission of an NDT specialist is to provide high-quality work for our customers on site, but mainly also within CQM Welding BV. You have a profile with at least PT Level II and/or MT Level II. Other levels (UT, RT, VT, etc.) are a very nice extra, which we will certainly make use of. Your goal is to help a fast-growing start-up in the welding industry grow even faster by providing support in these NDT activities and contributing innovative ideas.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Sales & Project Engineer
The core mission of a Sales & Project Engineer is to sell all-round projects and follow them up from A to Z (with internal support) and to further develop the management system within CQM Welding BV. The projects mainly consist of repairs to pressure-related installations (piping, nozzles, pump systems, etc.), often involving PED2014/68/EU or ASME. You ensure clear communication with both customers and suppliers and are a driving force with the aim of completing successful projects every time. CQM Welding is a fast-growing start-up with a basic management system. You will help to systematically develop this system further.
Welding Coordinator
CQM Welding is a young, dynamic company that provides consulting engineering services to construction companies (pressure vessels, tank construction, light to heavy-duty structures, etc.). We are generally looking for a welding coordinator who is willing to grow with the company and is eager to learn about the theory of welding. If you do not yet have an RWC-B (Responsible Welding Coordinator – Level B) diploma, but do have sufficient experience and knowledge within the industry, CQM Welding will provide you with this training.
