Role Overview:
As a Welding QC Inspector, you will ensure all welding and fabrication work meets approved specifications and quality standards. You will perform quality stage inspections, factory acceptance testing, and escalate any issues to the Senior Welding Inspector.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all quality stages are recorded on our electronic quality system, ensuring full traceability of all production items. During reviews, you may be required to present the quality process and information from previous similar jobs. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding inspection, quality control, and a strong understanding of fabrication processes within the M&E or manufacturing industries.

Job Details:
- Job Title: Welding QC Inspector
- Location: Fabrication Sites, Scarva
- Hours:
- Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm
- Friday 7am-1:30pm
- Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience
- Responsible to: Quality Control Manager
What You'll be Doing:
- Conduct quality inspections, factory acceptance testing, and welding surveillance to ensure all fabrication and welded components meet approved drawings, specifications, production, and quality standards.
- Responsibilities include inspecting, testing, measuring, and reporting on welded products.
- Perform visual and non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Verify weld quality and dimensions.
- Identify defects and non-conformances.
- Recommend process adjustments and repairs.
- Support corrective actions.
- Review welding procedures, materials, and welder qualifications.
- Maintain full production traceability and electronic quality records.
- Accept or reject completed components in line with established standards.
- Present quality findings from previous similar projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Carry out other duties as required by management.
