Welding Technical Advisor (Trade Counter & Stores)
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £28,000 - £29,000 p/a
Hours: Full Time 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 4:45pm (45 Minute Lunch), Friday 8:15am - 3:45pm (1 hour lunch)
Part Time applications are also welcomed.

Stafflex are working with a growing business, who have an exciting opportunity to move into a varied technical position where you'll be able to use industry knowledge to advised customers, prepare equipment, support the trade counter, and help keep the stores running smoothly. This role will give you the opportunity to develop new skills while remaining in the industry. It would suit someone looking to work in a customer-facing environment while sharing your technical expertise.

Job Duties:
- Serving customers on the trade counter and delivering excellent customer service
- Building relationships with new and existing customers to help grow sales
- Reviewing products and pricing to maximise revenue opportunities
- Assessing and repairing welding torches
- Carrying out PAT testing
- Demonstrating welding machinery to customers
- Preparing products for customer collection or delivery
- Receiving goods, picking orders and despatching products
- Making occasional local deliveries
- Opening and closing the premises when required
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
- Acting as a professional ambassador for the brand

Requirements:
- Good knowledge of welding processes and the welding industry
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and in writing
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Great attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A team-first approach and willingness to learn
- A full UK driving license with no pending disqualifications (Desirable)
