Job Description

Student Wellbeing is part of Leeds Beckett University’s Student Services and provides counselling and mental health interventions for students. We are seeking to recruit a Wellbeing Administrator to our multi-disciplinary team of Wellbeing Officers, Wellbeing Practitioners, Counsellors, and Specialist Mentors. Our Wellbeing Officers/Administrator provide a first point of contact and triage for enquiries about a range of issues relating to student wellbeing and provide administrative support to Student Wellbeing.

You will be confident in using IT programs such as Outlook, Excel, MS Teams, and Power Point, and in developing ways of utilizing IT to support the efficient running of the service. A full induction and training package can be expected in the role.

The role is campus-based and would be split over 5 days, with potential for some flexibility. The start time will be 8.30.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and administration skills, who will work closely with colleagues across Student Services to ensure that students receive the support or advice that they need. The successful applicant will have organizational and customer service skills, and the ability to provide information and guidance to anyone with concerns about a student in a professional manner. We are looking for a strong team player who is willing to work flexibly across services to best support the wider directorate.

As this role is part-time and term-time only, the estimated salary for this role is approximately £9,800 per annum.
