Job Introduction
Salary: £43,357.51 per annum, plus an additional £4,613.61 London Allowance per annum for London based candidates.
Contract Type: FTC till end of March 2028.
Location: London – Force Headquarters
Type of Working Arrangement: Blended approach of home and office-working is available
Hours: 37 hours per week

The Opportunity
Are you looking for your next exciting career move? British Transport Police have an excellent opportunity for a Wellbeing Adviser to join the People and Culture Department. As a Wellbeing Adviser with BTP, you will be part of an integral team in delivering a broad range of support services in relation to wellbeing, providing advice and guidance to management, colleagues and employees on BTP wellbeing services.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the implementation of the Force Wellbeing Strategy, providing advice and guidance on emotional, mental, financial and physical wellbeing to employees across BTP.
- Coordinate and manage Wellbeing and TRiM peer support activity, including referrals, data management, training support and guidance to employees and managers.
- Design and develop wellbeing initiatives, including workshops, presentations, webinars, roadshows, promotional campaigns and wellbeing training across the organisation.
- Analyse wellbeing and absence data, identify emerging trends and produce reports and recommendations to improve wellbeing services and employee outcomes.
Essential Criteria
What you'll bring to the team:
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in Health and Wellbeing and a Level 3 Mental Health qualification, together with experience working in a wellbeing-focused role within a complex organisation
- Experience of supporting wellbeing programmes, organising wellbeing events and providing wellbeing advice, coaching and guidance to managers and employees
- Strong analytical skills with experience of interpreting data, identifying wellbeing trends and using insights to support service improvements.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills, with experience handling sensitive and confidential information and delivering presentations, briefings or awareness sessions

- Project management experience including techniques for planning, stakeholder engagement and risk management
