Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant - RCT | Immediate Start
Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with experience working with children and looking for a role Monday to Friday? We are currently recruiting a Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in RCT to work within a Reception class. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with children, ideally within an Early Years or Reception setting, who is available to work full-time ASAP.
The Role
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Supporting pupils within a Welsh Medium Reception class
- Assisting with learning, play and classroom activities
- Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development
- Helping maintain a safe, positive and engaging learning environment
- Supporting pupils with routines and day-to-day classroom needs

We're Looking For
- Fluent Welsh speaker - essential
- Previous experience working with children
- Early Years or Reception experience is highly desirable
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Availability to work full-time, ASAP
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Fluent in Welsh
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Completion of safeguarding and compliance checks
- Right to work documentation

Pay: £94 per day, with potential increases depending on the school's rate, qualifications and experience.
