We are looking for a fluent Welsh speaker to join our Regulatory team and assist in the case and document management for the firm’s clients.
For this role we will consider applicants with no legal background, but excellent organisation and administration skills, great written communication and a willingness to learn and a can-do positive attitude.
Our Regulatory team is consistently and independently recognised by Chambers UK and Legal 500 as a leader in the market. You would assist the department in its preparation of cases for the firm’s clients and in particular the Education Workforce Council (EWC) and the Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA).
The role will involve writing and translating documents in English/Welsh and assisting and supporting the other solicitors with their workload. Duties will include preparing legal documents, case administration, document review and management, as well as liaising with clients and witnesses. In this role you will be sorting, labelling indexing and redacting documents, maintaining databases and assisting in the preparation of hearing bundles. You will also be required to liaise with the police, NHS trusts, private health and care providers and local authorities to request/receive documents as well as experts. You will also need to attend and take notes in meetings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
