Job Title: Assistant Production Accountant
Salary: £27,000–£30,000 depending on experience
Location: Glasgow, The Hub, 70 Pacific Quay, G51 1EA
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 4 days in-office, plus 1 day optional WFH

With more than 40 major awards and nominations in the past five years, Rogan continues to grow its creative and production teams across the UK and internationally.
Rogan is looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Assistant Production Accountant to join our Finance team.
Based in Glasgow, you will be reporting directly to the Senior Production Accountant based in London.
You'll support the day-to-day financial administration of our productions and work closely with Production Managers, suppliers and our external bookkeeping and accounting team.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Senior Production Accountant with production accounts.
- Assisting with building production cost reports from approved budgets.
- Maintaining and updating cost reports throughout the production.
- Carrying out monthly reconciliations of actual costs against budgets and highlighting variances.
- Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations and payments and resolving any related queries.
- Maintaining production ledgers and ensuring costs are correctly coded and allocated.
- Supporting production pay runs, payments and cashflow.
- Assisting with Soldo expense cards and production bank accounts.
- Liaising with our external bookkeeper and accountants.
- Assisting with month-end bookkeeping and information required for management accounts.
- General finance administration and process improvement.
Person Specification:
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and keen to develop their career in production accounting.
- Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping or finance administration.
- Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
- Quick learner with the ability to use initiative.
- Sage50 experience is desirable but not essential.
- Production/media experience is desirable but not essential.
