Job Description: Brand & Content Executive

Location: Glasgow (hybrid)

Starting salary from £26,000

Full-time, permanent

About The Role

We’re looking for a Brand & Content Executive to join Story Shop, someone who’s hands-on, creatively driven, and ready to get stuck in across everything from capturing and posting content to creating polished, client-ready decks and materials.

This is a “Swiss Army Knife” role - perfect for someone early in their career who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and wants to develop their skills across content, design and brand.

You’ll play a key role in how Story Shop shows up day-to-day, while also supporting the team on selected client social media and content projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

Story Shop Brand (your ownership):

  • Managing our social media channels
  • Supporting website updates and content
  • Creating and sending newsletters
  • Capturing and editing content (photo/video)
  • Keeping our brand output consistent, fresh and on point
  • Playing a hands-on role in bringing Story Shop events to life, from promotion to content capture on the day

Team & Client Support

  • Designing decks, proposals and presentations (primarily in Canva)
  • Creating well-designed documents and visual assets
  • Supporting campaign content and creative execution
  • Assisting with client social media, from content creation to posting and community management
  • Supporting the development of social content plans and contributing ideas to client social strategy
  • Helping bring ideas to life quickly and to a high standard

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
