Recruitment Officer – South Dublin & Wicklow
Full-Time | €36,000 per annum
Location: Right at Home Firhouse Office, with travel to other Right at Home offices as required
Right at Home is seeking an experienced and highly organised Recruitment Officer to join our team, with responsibility for recruitment across South Dublin and Wicklow.
Reporting directly to the Recruitment Manager, the Recruitment Officer will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for Home Care Assistants and supporting recruitment for office-based positions where required.
The successful candidate will work closely with Business Managers, HR and Compliance to ensure recruitment activity is responsive to operational requirements and that candidates are supported through a professional, efficient and compliant recruitment and onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Home Care Assistants
- Develop and advertise vacancies across appropriate recruitment platforms and sourcing channels
- Screen applications and conduct competency-based and values-based interviews
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of suitable candidates across South Dublin and Wicklow
- Support workforce planning by targeting recruitment activity in areas of greatest operational need
- Ensure candidates meet all required pre-employment and compliance standards, including Garda Vetting, references, qualifications and right-to-work requirements
- Liaise closely with the Compliance team throughout the candidate onboarding process
- Coordinate candidate progression through onboarding, contracts and induction
- Maintain accurate and confidential recruitment records in accordance with GDPR and relevant regulatory requirements
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing a professional and positive candidate experience
- Support recruitment events, open days and other local recruitment initiatives
- Develop relationships with training providers, employment services and other relevant community organisations
- Support employee retention initiatives and wider workforce planning activity
- Promote Right at Home as an employer of choice and support employer-branding initiatives
- Monitor recruitment activity and provide regular updates on candidate pipelines, interviews, hires and recruitment challenges

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1–2 years' recruitment experience, ideally within healthcare or home care
- Strong knowledge of recruitment and onboarding processes
- An understanding of compliance requirements within Irish healthcare recruitment
- Knowledge of Irish employment legislation
- Experience screening candidates and conducting structured interviews
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and confidential records
- The ability to manage multiple recruitment priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence working independently while collaborating effectively with operational, HR and Compliance teams
- Good IT skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and applicant tracking or recruitment systems

Travel Requirement
A full driving licence and access to your own car are essential. The role will be primarily based from our Firhouse office, with travel to other Right at Home offices and locations as required.
