As the world economy has been more focused on Internet-based applications and computing, most of the organisations have started building their proficiency in cybersecurity. Cybersecurity Jobs in this field are less but are gaining fast importance. The business has started hiring cybersecurity staff for the protection of their systems.
The demand for cyber security jobs
It is their duty to protect their data as well as to protect the information of customers too. According to the reports from NASSCOM, a non-profitable organisation reported that 1 million cybersecurity jobs would be required in India in 2020 i.e. hike by almost 150 percent in total cybersecurity jobs in 2018. Many companies have doubled the size of their cybersecurity teams.
Government is also providing cyber security jobs. As government brought digital India and Demonetisation, demand for cyber security jobs in government has been increased. To make India Digital, government require highly trained staff so that they can be better applications and provide better security.
As cyber-attacks continue to increase in volume with new strategies, the government needs to raise the alarm. Due to talent shortage and less skilled people in this area industry expect high skilled professionals and are ready to pay high salaries to them. There has been a sudden increase in demand for cybersecurity professionals in almost every sector in every year.
For a job, top-level chief information security officers can get $450,000 annually. India has the largest IT talent in the world, lacks skilled cybersecurity professionals. Since companies are willing to pay premium salaries to experienced professionals, this has led to an increase in cybersecurity budgets by 70%, which was observed in the PwC report.

Network Security Engineer
It is a very critical and important position within every organisation. They provide security systems within the organisation to stop any attacks. They also see the maintenance of firewalls, routers, switches, various networking devices, use network monitoring tools, and VPNs.
Network Security Engineer has a great responsibility to maintain systems and identify vulnerabilities. They also need to provide constant automation to the system. The median salary they are offered is $100,000 to $120,000 per annum.

A security architect plays a very important role in designing the network and computer security architecture for their company. He helps in planning and designing elements of security.
