White Collar Crime and Sanctions Solicitor – Central London – Market Leading Salary

We are working with a highly regarded international law firm to recruit a White Collar Crime & Sanctions Solicitor to join its established Financial Regulatory team in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 2+ years' PQE and experience in white-collar crime, financial crime, regulatory investigations or sanctions to work on complex and high-profile matters with an international dimension.

The team advises a broad range of organisations, including financial institutions, insurers, multinational businesses and other regulated organisations, providing strategic advice on financial crime risk, sanctions compliance, investigations and enforcement.

The Role:

  • Advise clients on UK and international sanctions requirements, compliance obligations and enforcement risks
  • Assist with complex internal and external investigations
  • Advise on financial crime, fraud, bribery, corruption and money laundering matters
  • Support sanctions risk assessments, compliance reviews and internal governance projects
  • Draft clear and commercially focused legal advice, submissions and regulatory correspondence
  • Liaise with regulators, enforcement agencies and other relevant authorities
  • Assist with licensing applications, voluntary disclosures and compliance frameworks
  • Work alongside colleagues across international offices and wider practice areas on cross-border matters
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Contribute to business development and profile-raising initiatives

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE
  • Experience in white-collar crime, financial crime, sanctions, regulatory investigations or compliance
  • Good understanding of UK and/or international sanctions regimes
  • Experience dealing with regulatory or enforcement bodies
  • Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisation and project management abilities
  • Commercially minded with a practical and solutions-focused approach
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of international or multi-jurisdictional matters would be advantageous
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
