White Collar Crime and Sanctions Solicitor – Central London – Market Leading Salary
We are working with a highly regarded international law firm to recruit a White Collar Crime & Sanctions Solicitor to join its established Financial Regulatory team in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 2+ years' PQE and experience in white-collar crime, financial crime, regulatory investigations or sanctions to work on complex and high-profile matters with an international dimension.
The team advises a broad range of organisations, including financial institutions, insurers, multinational businesses and other regulated organisations, providing strategic advice on financial crime risk, sanctions compliance, investigations and enforcement.
The Role:
- Advise clients on UK and international sanctions requirements, compliance obligations and enforcement risks
- Assist with complex internal and external investigations
- Advise on financial crime, fraud, bribery, corruption and money laundering matters
- Support sanctions risk assessments, compliance reviews and internal governance projects
- Draft clear and commercially focused legal advice, submissions and regulatory correspondence
- Liaise with regulators, enforcement agencies and other relevant authorities
- Assist with licensing applications, voluntary disclosures and compliance frameworks
- Work alongside colleagues across international offices and wider practice areas on cross-border matters
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development and profile-raising initiatives

About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE
- Experience in white-collar crime, financial crime, sanctions, regulatory investigations or compliance
- Good understanding of UK and/or international sanctions regimes
- Experience dealing with regulatory or enforcement bodies
- Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills
- Excellent organisation and project management abilities
- Commercially minded with a practical and solutions-focused approach
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience of international or multi-jurisdictional matters would be advantageous
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
