Appliance Repair is a trusted company working in this sector for the last 25 years working in East Sussex area. We are looking for someone who can work alone and be trusted in the customer environment.

The Role

As a contractor White Goods Engineer, you’ll attend customers’ homes to diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of kitchen and white goods appliances.

  • You’ll be trusted to work independently in the field, representing our company in customers’ homes, while having access to operational, managerial and technical support when you need it.
  • Other qualities are confidence, experience and a calm, professional approach.

Typical appliances you’ll work on will be:

  • Washing machines
  • Tumble dryers
  • Dishwashers
  • Refrigeration
  • Ovens

What We Require

  • At least 2 years experience working in the White Goods Sector, working as an engineer.
  • Broad technical knowledge across many brands and Appliances.
  • Good fault finding and diagnostic skills with thinking outside the box.
  • Excellent customer skills. It’s not just the appliance you are going to see, the customer is important as well.
  • Safe and organised working practices.
  • Pride in your workmanship and a keen eye to thorough testing is essential.

Contractor Requirements

  • Self Employed / Contractor Status
  • Your own tools and test equipment
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
  • Holder of relevant Public Liability Insurance.
