Wholesale Account Manager
BUSINESS UNIT: BeyondReach
FUNCTION: Sales
REPORTS TO: Director of Wholesale
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
LOCATION: Cedar Rapids, IA / Remote
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
EXPERIENCE: 7+ years of experience preferred
About the Role
BeyondReach is seeking a Wholesale Account Manager to build and grow revenue relationships with Carriers, Aggregators, and VARs — the partners who resell, embed, or interconnect BeyondReach products within their own services. This is a quota-carrying role reporting to the Director of Wholesale, responsible for landing new wholesale logos and expanding product adoption and MRR within existing accounts.
The Wholesale Account Manager is accountable for the full account lifecycle within an assigned territory: building qualified pipeline, leading commercial conversations, supporting MSA negotiations, executing onboarding and handoff, and driving cross-sell and renewal motion across the BeyondReach product suite (DIA, broadband, Ethernet, and emerging products). This role partners closely with the Director of Wholesale on account strategy and commercial structure, and with the Pricing Desk, Sales Engineering, Implementation Coordinators, and Carrier Relations to deliver for every client.
BeyondReach provides connectivity to any location, no matter how remote or complex, specializing in hard-to-reach locations. A single Carrier or Aggregator partner can represent the MRR equivalent of dozens of direct enterprise accounts, with compounding network effects as the partner grows. This Account Manager will own those relationships day to day, execute the wholesale playbook, and serve as the client’s advocate inside BeyondReach from first conversation through install and beyond.
What You’ll Accomplish And Experience
Prospecting & Pipeline Development
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of Carrier, Aggregator, and VAR prospects across an assigned territory or vertical segment.
- Research target accounts and execute outbound prospecting through cold outreach, trade show relationships, channel referrals, and warm introductions.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes, engaging network engineering, product, procurement, and executive contacts within the same account.
- Manage pipeline in HubSpot and internal systems with accurate stage, close date, and MRR forecasting.
Commercial Negotiations & Deal Structuring
- Lead commercial conversations on pricing, term length, volume commitments, and NRC/MRC structure, in coordination with the Director of Wholesale and Sales Operations.
- Partner with the Pricing Desk and Sales Engineering on complex multi-site, multi-carrier, and mixed-access quotes, providing clean, complete inputs for fast turnaround.
- Support MSA negotiations led by the Director of Wholesale and qualify deals accurately using a working understanding of off-net and build cost structures.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Account Planning & Expansion
- Maintain organized account plans for each assigned partner; covering contacts, current products, renewal timelines, expansion opportunities, and open issues.
- Execute a consistent QBR cadence with strategic accounts; bring data, forward-looking product recommendations, and a clear expansion ask, not just a status update.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the BeyondReach product suite, and own renewal conversations 90+ days in advance.
Integration & Onboarding
- Introduce partners to the BeyondReach wholesale portal and API during onboarding, drive quoting volume, and track integration milestones with Engineering and Product.
- Execute the new client onboarding process and hand off signed deals to Implementation with a complete, accurate order package.
Client Advocacy & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Stay engaged through install as the client’s advocate inside BeyondReach; escalate account health issues early and coordinate the internal response when problems arise.
- Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and deal strategy sessions with the Director of Wholesale.
- Provide structured field feedback on pricing sensitivity, competitive pressure, integration friction, and product gaps.

- Commercially sharp and technically credible; able to navigate technical and commercial conversations with equal confidence.
- Adaptable and driven; adjusts quickly to changing conditions, relishes tackling challenges in a fast-paced environment, and delivers results with confidence, collaboration, and determination.
- Collaborative across matrixed teams; builds strong relationships internally and externally to plan, implement, and support BeyondReach technology.
