Wholesale Account Manager
Function: Sales
Reports to: Buying & Sales Director
Level: Manager (red)
Location: Leeds (Colton) 2mins from Junction 46 – M1, 20mins from Leeds Station. Some travel will be required as part of this role to attend customer meetings, events, and industry activities.
Compensation: Dependant on experience
Hours: Full time (37.5 / wk)

The Wholesale Account Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the growth and success of the wholesale business while working cross-functionally with key teams across the organisation.
The Role
We are seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Wholesale Account Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving wholesale growth. This individual will be responsible for managing existing accounts, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and building strong, long-term partnerships that deliver sustainable revenue growth.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who can effectively pitch to prospective accounts, develop new leads, and convert opportunities into revenue. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate exceptional relationship-building skills, and be passionate about achieving both individual and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Business Development
- Manage a portfolio of wholesale accounts, ensuring strong account performance and customer satisfaction.
- Identify, pitch to, and secure new wholesale business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer accounts.
- Lead and attend sell-in meetings, presenting product ranges confidently and influencing purchasing decisions.
- Develop strategic account plans and proactively identify opportunities for growth, upselling, and increased market presence.

Commercial & Operational Support
- Analyse sales performance data and provide recommendations to maximise account potential.
- Work closely with Buying, Merchandising and Operations teams on stock management, stock movements, sales order set-up, and delivery coordination.
- Attend all range handover meetings with Design, Buying, and Technical teams to ensure alignment and effective account management.
- Support showroom setup and sample management, ensuring high standards of presentation and attention to detail.
- Manage SMS samples and relevant product administration.
Marketing & Brand Activation
- Collaborate with the Brand Team on events, point-of-sale materials, gym activations, and marketing initiatives within agreed budgets.
- Ensure the brand voice is consistent across all customer-facing activities.
- Support the successful execution of account-specific promotional activities to increase brand awareness and sales performance.
Administration
- Complete various administrative tasks across multiple accounts, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
- Prepare account updates, sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews as required.

Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar account management, wholesale, or business development role.
- Proven experience managing customer accounts and developing strong commercial relationships.
- Demonstrated success in generating new leads, securing new business, and driving revenue growth.
- Confident presenter with the ability to pitch effectively and influence decision-makers.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales data and identifying opportunities.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience within the fashion, activewear, sportswear, or retail industry is preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.

Working hours:
Due to the nature of this role, the hours will be full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday-Friday, although a flexible approach is required at times to meet the needs of the role.
Location:
This role is based at Unit 6 Temple Point, Bullerthorpe Lane, Colton, Leeds LS15 9JL. 2 minutes off the M1 J46. 20 minutes from Leeds station. Some travel will be required as part of this role to attend customer meetings, events, and industry activities.
