Role Description

This is a full-time Wholesale Executive role based in London. The Wholesale Executive will manage and grow relationships with existing Wholesale Partners, ensuring timely communication on collections, orders and deliveries. They will support the full sales cycle, including presenting seasonal ranges, preparing line sheets, processing wholesale orders and monitoring performance across accounts. The role includes coordinating with internal teams on inventory, pricing and logistics, as well as maintaining accurate wholesale data and reports. The Wholesale Executive will also identify new wholesale opportunities, assist with showroom appointments and contribute to strategies that strengthen Cole Buxton’s presence in key markets.

Responsibilities

Sales & Account Management

  • Manage an existing portfolio of wholesale accounts while proactively identifying and pitching to new prospects
  • Key role in helping to deliver our multiple showrooms throughout the year (London / Paris)
  • Organise Wholesale Partner meetings for showrooms and confidently present collection
  • Proactively monitor customer sell through, analyse and suggest additional stock or swaps where possible, transforming insights into actions
  • Identify and report marketing opportunities when in discussion with Wholesale Partners
  • Update Wholesale Partners with RRPs and markdown lists
  • Ensure partners adhere to brand guidelines, and provide product training and marketing support to drive sales
  • Implementation of shop fits and negotiating of prime positioning including space and density planning. Liaise with PR & Marketing regarding activities for Wholesale Partners

Finance, Administration & Analysis

  • Manage the end-to-end order lifecycle – including chasing, processing and distributing order confirmations efficiently through the dedicated CRM/PLM system (Uphance)
  • Assist Wholesale Partners process orders on Uphance through the B2B platform
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure timely dispatch, resolve shipping issues and manage returns
  • Assist Accounts with detailed shipping timelines where necessary
  • Chase outstanding debtors on a weekly basis, communicating any issues with Key Management
  • Monitoring the sales performance on client accounts to ensure they are on target and take corrective action where performance is not on track
  • Creating annual and seasonal sales budgets and targets, ensuring that these align with the wholesale strategy and the company’s revenue projections
  • Attending production and logistics meetings, communicating any delays or issues with orders to the relevant Wholesale Partners on a timely basis
  • Managing the seasonal critical path and working closely with Operations and Finance to ensure payments are made in line with terms and shipments are processed within agreed delivery dates

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1-3 years’ experience working within a Wholesale environment
  • Highly organised, process-driven and comfortable working with a CRM system
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work on-site in London, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using all Office Suite products essential
  • Knowledge of Uphance beneficial (or any CRM/PLM system and ability to show transferable skills)
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects and budgets on target
  • Financial planning and management
  • Analytical skills with expertise in retail
