Job Description

Role/Team Overview

As a Wholesale Performance Analyst, you will help drive business performance through data, reporting and commercial insight. Working closely with teams across Sales, Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Product and Operations, you will monitor performance, identify opportunities and risks, and provide actionable recommendations that support business growth and better decision-making. You'll turn complex data into clear, meaningful insights that help stakeholders understand performance and take action, while also supporting reporting automation and AI-enabled initiatives that improve efficiency and business insight.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver clear, accurate and timely performance reporting and executive updates, translating complex business data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Analyse revenue, Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), Monthly Recurring Margin (MRM), sales volumes, customer, product, partner and market performance, identifying material trends, performance gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Track actual performance against plan and forecast, supporting forecasting, revenue tracking and Risks & Opportunities (R&O) management.
  • Support pipeline and large-deal governance, providing visibility of key opportunities, dependencies, commercial risks and delivery considerations.
  • Support annual and quarterly business planning, including Budgets, Long Range Plans (LRPs) and QBRs, working closely with Sales, Commercial, Trading and Finance teams.
  • Deliver sales and commercial insight through KPI tracking, funnel and conversion analysis, pipeline reporting and productivity performance.
  • Provide deeper analysis across areas such as churn, retention, profitability, partner performance and commercial economics to support business growth and revenue improvement.
  • Support key commercial decisions through business case analysis, commission reporting, deal approvals and associated commercial governance processes.
  • Maintain and improve reporting standards, data definitions and data quality, ensuring stakeholders have confidence in business performance information.
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting and business processes, leveraging automation and AI-enabled solutions to simplify activity, reduce manual effort, and improve business insight and productivity.

What You’ll Bring

Essential criteria:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify performance drivers, risks and commercial opportunities.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear insight, recommendations and actions.
  • Experience producing reports, dashboards and performance analysis, with strong Excel skills and experience of data visualisation or reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to explain findings clearly to different audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisation, with a focus on data quality, accuracy, competing priorities and agreed deadlines.

Desirable Skills And Experience:

  • Experience in a commercial, trading, finance, sales operations or analytics role.
  • Experience within telecoms, technology, B2B or another subscription-based industry.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Salesforce, SQL or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience supporting sales performance, forecasting, budgeting or planning, and improving reporting, data quality or automation.

How You’ll Work

We’ve adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectation for this role is 3 days in the office per week.

Your Office Space

Livingston Watermark House:

  • Our lively campus is a free shuttle bus away from Livingston North train station and the town centre. Plus there’s onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.

Osterley

  • Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
