Retail Wholesale Merchandiser - Premium Beauty brand
Manchester, UK
Full-time
Premium Beauty D2C & Wholesale
Global Launch - 1st February
Be part of a premium beauty brand from day one. Our client is launching an exciting new premium global beauty brand, backed by an established and successful Manchester-based business, experienced directors and a global influencer with 2M+ followers, who will be the face of the brand.
This brand will be working with very well known talent and influencers globally
With an ambitious launch strategy across the UK, US and Australia, they are building a brand designed for leading premium beauty retailers and international growth.
Predicated turnover in the 1st year will be £5 -£10 Million
They are now looking for an experienced Retail Wholesale Merchandiser to join their Manchester team and play a key role in shaping the commercial success of the brand from launch.
This is a rare opportunity to join a business at the beginning of its journey and have genuine influence over how the brand is merchandised, launched and scaled across international retail.
The Opportunity
As Retail Wholesale Merchandiser, you’ll sit at the heart of the commercial operation, working closely with the senior management, sales, marketing, product and operations teams.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring we have the right products, in the right quantities, in the right retailers, at the right time. From forecasting and stock management to range planning, sales analysis and wholesale performance, you’ll use data and commercial insight to help drive the growth of the brand. You’ll also support the development of retail and wholesale strategies across some of the worlds most exciting premium beauty markets.
Potential retail opportunities include leading names such as Selfridges, Sephora, Space NK and Mecca Beauty, alongside other major prestige beauty retailers.
This is a role for someone who wants to build, not simply maintain. You’ll have the opportunity to influence processes, contribute to commercial strategy and help establish the merchandising foundations of a brand with global ambitions.
What You’ll Be Doing
📊 Retail Wholesale Merchandising
- Manage merchandising activity across wholesale and retail accounts.
- Analyse sales performance by retailer, SKU, category and market.
- Monitor sell-through, stock levels, weeks of cover and replenishment.
- Identify best sellers, slow movers and opportunities to optimise availability.
- Support retailer-specific range and merchandising strategies.
- Assist with new account onboarding and retail launches.
- Support range reviews and assortment recommendations.
- Monitor retailer orders against forecasts and launch plans.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
