Role Description

The Wholesale Sales Agent role is a contract, hybrid position based in UK, with some work from home flexibility. In this role, the agent will:

  • Manage and grow B2B wholesale relationships
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities
  • Handle inbound inquiries from potential and existing partners
  • Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and contacting retailers and distributors, preparing quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring timely follow-up to close deals
  • Collaborate closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate order processing, stock availability, and on-time delivery
  • Support marketing initiatives for partner brands
  • Gather market feedback
  • Maintain detailed CRM records
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts

  • Strong B2B sales and account management skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and relationship building
  • Experience with wholesale distribution or FMCG products; experience in nicotine, tobacco alternatives, or related sectors is an advantage
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present offers clearly and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Comfort with digital tools and systems, such as CRM platforms, online ordering systems, and basic data analysis in spreadsheets
  • Organized and detail-oriented working style, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, pipelines, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Commercial awareness and basic understanding of pricing, margins, and promotional strategies in online and offline retail environments
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid setup, while collaborating effectively with on-site and remote colleagues
  • Previous experience in a similar wholesale or sales agent role and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is preferred
  • Ability to work legally in the UK and commute to Nottingham as required; proficiency in English is essential, additional languages are a plus
