About the role
The Growth Development Team leads the creation and delivery of initiatives designed to grow Whoosh sales and enhance the customer experience. Operating in a rapidly expanding market, we develop new capabilities and propositions that are often complex and involve collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you'll be adaptable, comfortable working with ambiguity, and able to balance strategic thinking with a data-informed approach. Strong communication and collaboration skills will help you build relationships, bring people together, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
You will be responsible for
- Managing projects that support the growth of the Whoosh business, developing and delivering complex initiatives while responding flexibly to evolving priorities.
- Building strong, collaborative relationships across Technology, CEC, Retail, Customer, Commercial, Fulfilment, and the wider Online team to support effective delivery.
- Working through ambiguity with colleagues and stakeholders to create clarity, alignment, and momentum.
- Using data and insights to identify opportunities, evaluate potential benefits, and understand risks and dependencies.
- Coordinating communications throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring stakeholders and leaders receive clear, relevant, and timely updates.
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and celebrating success together.
- Supporting and coaching project team members in a values-led, agile way, encouraging continuous learning, testing, and improvement.
- Reviewing outcomes after launch, evaluating project performance against agreed objectives, KPIs, and stakeholder feedback to identify lessons learned.
- Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, focusing effort where it will have the greatest impact and balancing competing demands effectively.

You will need
- Experience delivering complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions. Confidence working with numbers and Excel is essential.
- A good understanding of retail, alongside commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities that create value for customers and the business.
- Experience of financial and business planning, with the ability to assess potential benefits and support effective decision-making.
- The ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, working collaboratively to gain alignment and move initiatives forward.
- Confidence navigating ambiguity and changing priorities, helping teams create clarity and focus when needed.
- A pragmatic and curious approach to solving complex challenges, with a willingness to explore new ideas and ways of working.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, focus on the activities that will have the greatest impact, and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience working with Technology teams or within a technology-enabled environment would be beneficial.
