About the Role
The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will work for a hypergrowth SaaS scaleup.
Key Responsibilities
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will earn £125,000+ per annum.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will work hybrid, sometimes at our office, sometimes at customer sites.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will be embedded with Product and Engineering teams.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will prototype in hours, deploy in days and treat AI Agents as genuine force multipliers.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will work with customers to understand their workflows, then design and build bespoke solutions.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will use AI-assisted development tools e.g. Claude Code et al.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will own the full stack: React/Angular, Python, AWS/Terraform.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will translate messy, ambiguous customer problems into working software.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will build reusable components that make the next deployment faster than the last.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will be comfortable presenting, debugging live and making architectural decisions on the fly.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will feed back learnings into the core product roadmap, informing what gets built next.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will be fluent with AI coding tools, LLMs, RAG, agentic tool calling and orchestration.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will be up to speed with the latest AI developments e.g. agentic loops/graphs.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will favour shipping over polishing. Good is often good enough these days.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will have prior startup/scaleup exposure.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will have prior forward deployed, solutions engineering or technical professional services experience.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will have a track record of turning one-off customer builds into production features.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will enjoy direct exposure to how our customers use (and break) our product.
- The Forward Deployed PropTech Engineer will work with teams that consider AI to be core infrastructure, rather than novelty.
