Wild Tech & AI Lead

Job Purpose
The Tech & AI Lead is responsible for defining and delivering Wild's technology, AI, cyber security, and digital transformation agenda. The role drives end-to-end business transformation through the strategic application of technology, automation, AI and enterprise platforms, ensuring that investments deliver business value and support Wild's long-term growth ambitions.
Acting as the primary technology partner to business leadership, the Tech & AI Lead shapes technology strategy, leads major transformation programmes, establishes governance and risk controls, and drives the adoption of emerging technologies including Generative AI and Agentic AI. The role works across both Wild and Unilever ecosystems, leveraging enterprise capabilities and security while maintaining the agility and innovation of a high-growth digital business.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Transformation
- Define and execute Wild's technology strategy and roadmap.
- Lead large-scale business and technology transformation programmes from strategy through to implementation and adoption.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and business performance through technology.
- Ensure technology initiatives align with business priorities and growth objectives.
AI, Automation & Agentic Systems
- Evolve Wild's AI strategy, operating model and governance framework.
- Identify, prioritise and deliver AI and automation opportunities across all business functions.
- Lead the adoption of Generative AI, Agentic AI and intelligent workflow automation solutions.
- Drive experimentation and innovation using emerging AI capabilities and platforms.
- Establish frameworks for responsible AI usage, model governance and operational oversight.
- Partner with business teams to embed AI-enabled ways of working across the organisation.

Enterprise Architecture & Technology Leadership
- Define future-state technology architecture and integration strategy.
- Lead platform and tooling decisions across enterprise applications, cloud infrastructure, and AI ecosystems.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient and fit for long-term growth.
- Drive technology simplification, standardisation and modernisation initiatives.
Cyber Security, Risk & Privacy
- Champion cyber security, privacy and compliance across the technology landscape.
- Ensure appropriate governance, controls and risk management processes are implemented and maintained alongside the cyber lead and Unilever teams.
- Embed secure-by-design and privacy-by-design principles into technology and AI initiatives.
- Oversee cyber maturity improvement plans and ongoing risk management activities.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Build strong relationships across Wild, Unilever and external technology partners.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships and ensure effective delivery from implementation partners and service providers.
- Lead the relationship with Unilever GDT teams and leadership, ensuring strong alignment between Wild priorities and enterprise technology capabilities.

Capability Building & Adoption
- Promote digital, AI and data literacy across the organisation.
- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation and continuous improvement.
Experience & Skills
- Experience leading technology, AI or digital transformation programmes.
- Experience building out and managing a technology team.
- Understanding of cyber security, risk management, privacy and governance principles.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercial mindset with ability to connect technology investment to business outcomes.
- Experience managing third-party technology vendors and implementation partners.
- Understanding of cloud technologies, enterprise architecture and systems integration.
- Experience working in fast-paced and evolving business environments, ideally within a Unilever Acquired Business.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI and automation technologies.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), the Google AI ecosystem, and Anthropic capabilities.
