Wills & Estate Planning Adviser (TEP Qualified)
South Tyneside | Permanent | Circa. £30,000 Basic Salary + Bonus & Commission | Realistic OTE £45,000-£60,000+

Are you an experienced Wills & Estate Planning Adviser looking for more than just your next role? We're working with an established and growing business that is launching a brand-new Wills & Estate Planning division. As part of this exciting journey, we're looking for a TEP-qualified professional who can provide expert client advice whilst helping to build and shape the future of the division.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the beginning, influence how the division develops, build your own client portfolio and play a genuine role in its long-term success.
What's on Offer?
- £30,000 basic salary DOE
- Attractive bonus and commission structure
- Realistic OTE of £45,000-£60,000+
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
- Hybrid working (typically 3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

The Role
As a Wills & Estate Planning Adviser, you'll combine high-quality client advice with business development, helping establish and grow the division.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on wills, trusts and estate planning solutions
- Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- Identifying inheritance tax planning opportunities
- Developing tailored estate planning strategies
- Building strong and lasting client relationships
- Working closely with Financial Advisers to provide a joined-up client service
- Maximising warm referrals and client introductions
- Developing new business opportunities
- Growing and managing your own client portfolio
- Supporting the development of services, processes and propositions within the division
- Contributing ideas and initiatives to support the growth of the business
- Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
- Ensuring all advice is delivered professionally, ethically and in line with current legislation and best practice

About You
We're looking for an experienced professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent client and commercial skills.
You'll ideally have:
- TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner) qualification - essential
- Proven experience advising clients on wills, trusts and estate planning
- Strong knowledge of inheritance tax planning
- Experience dealing with complex estate planning matters
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to explain complex legal and financial matters in a clear and practical way
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A professional, personable and client-focused approach
- Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for developing new business
- Confidence in building and maintaining your own client relationships
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your workload
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine desire to help build a successful division
