Wassiya is a UK-based online estate planning platform making professionally reviewed wills simple, affordable, and accessible for every family. Through a guided digital questionnaire, clients cover all aspects of their estate — assets, family, wishes, and obligations — from any device, at their own pace.
Draft wills are generated from client responses and reviewed and approved by SRA-regulated solicitors before final delivery. No office appointments. No inflated fees. Just clear, expert estate planning delivered online.
Wassiya offers specialist capability in faith-based estate planning, including Faraid-compliant Islamic wills, alongside standard will writing for all clients. Fixed, transparent pricing — typically 40 to 70% lower than traditional solicitor fees.
Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Wills & Estate Planning Paralegal to join Wassiya on a part-time basis (2 days per week, remote). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing legal technology platform at the ground floor, playing a hands-on role in shaping how estate planning is delivered digitally.

You will be the first point of quality control for every case that passes through the platform — reviewing client questionnaire responses and AI-assisted will drafts before they are passed to our solicitor partner for final legal approval. You will ensure every document is accurate, complete, and fit for purpose before it reaches the solicitor, reducing back-and-forth and protecting the quality of the final will delivered to the client.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Reviewing client questionnaire responses for completeness and identifying gaps or inconsistencies
- Checking AI-generated will drafts for accuracy, structure, and alignment with the client's stated wishes
- Flagging cases requiring solicitor attention, including complex family situations, trust structures, or faith-based requirements
- Communicating with clients via the platform to request clarifications where needed
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring all documentation meets required standards
- Supporting continuous improvement of Wassiya's document templates, processes, and client communications
- Assisting with onboarding and quality checking of new case types as the platform grows

Qualifications
- Experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or will writer in private client law — wills, probate, and estate planning
- Solid understanding of will drafting, inheritance law, and estate planning requirements in England and Wales
- Ability to review legal documents critically and identify errors, omissions, or risks
- Strong written communication skills — able to correspond with clients clearly and sensitively
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, digital-first environment
- Experience or interest in faith-based estate planning, including Faraid-compliant Islamic wills, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with legal case management systems and document management tools is an advantage
- CILEX qualification or working towards it is a plus but not essential
