At JNP Legal, we are continuing to grow and are looking for an ambitious and client-focused Wills & Probate Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our expanding Lifetime Planning Team.

We are looking for a Solicitor/ Chartered Legal Executive with at least 3 years PQE. If you are looking for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.

Our Lifetime Planning Team is one of the firm's key growth areas, helping clients through some of the most important decisions of their lives. From preparing wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney to estate planning and probate administration, our team provides expert advice with empathy, professionalism, and exceptional client care.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload whilst working closely with the Head of Department and wider Lifetime Planning Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a rewarding career within a growing department that places client service at the heart of everything it does.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of wills, probate, estate administration, and Lasting Powers of Attorney matters.
  • Providing clear, practical, and compassionate advice to clients.
  • Drafting wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents.
  • Advising executors and beneficiaries throughout the probate process.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, introducers, and professional contacts.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to support clients with wider legal services.
  • Meeting agreed billing and performance targets.
  • Supporting business development and growth initiatives within the department.
  • Assisting with compliance, continuous improvement, and quality standards.

  • A Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) or experienced Fee Earner with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
  • Passionate about Private Client and Lifetime Planning work.
  • Client-focused and committed to delivering outstanding service.
  • Organised, proactive, and capable of managing competing priorities.
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially aware with a desire to help grow the department.
  • Motivated, ambitious, and keen to progress their career.
  • A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
