Astute’s Power Team is partnering with a leading renewable energy provider to recruit a Wind Asset Manager to take overall ownership of several operational onshore wind farms across the UK.

The role comes with a £45,000 for the right candidate, plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Remote working is available, with preference for candidates within commuting distance of Glasgow, Edinburgh or Milton Keynes.

Responsibilities and duties of the Wind Asset Manager role

Reporting To The Lead Asset Manager You Will

  • Act as the primary contact for wind farm owners and manage customer relationships.
  • Manage contracts, agreements and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee site operations, contractors and OPEX budgets.
  • Analyse technical and operational data to maximise production and asset life.
  • Manage contractor performance and KPIs.
  • Produce detailed customer reports and performance recommendations.
  • Support procurement and the appointment of contractors.
  • Provide technical advice and support the onboarding of new wind farm assets.
  • Support due diligence and integration of new sites into operations.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Asset Management experience in the industry.
  • Happy remote working
  • Previous experience managing technical operations of onshore wind farms or similar renewable assets.
  • Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, SCADA and balance of plant equipment.
  • Experience managing and enforcing commercial contracts.
  • Strong data analysis and Excel skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
