Greensolver, the leading third-party provider of services to the renewable energy sector, (since 2008), manages wind, battery storage and solar power assets for its investment funds clients in Europe.

Greensolver is ramping up its development through an organic growth (new clients) and external growth strategy (acquisition and partnerships). Greensolver is part of the Voltalia group, operating as an independent entity.

Greensolver offers a wide range of solutions covering construction, technical, administrative and financial operations of wind, solar and BESS plants and advises investors on the acquisition or sale of assets.

Job Description

As part of Greensolver’s technical department you will work in the UK asset management team to ensure proper operation of wind farms and solar PV plants on behalf of our clients. You will take part in the operational control of all aspects of each project, analyse data, rectify issues and drive performance and quality improvements.

This role has aspects that are broader than just a technical function including supporting the team with implementation of quality systems and processes which deliver performance improvements. As an asset manager you will be responsible for building good working relationships with all clients and you will be their main point of contact within Greensolver.

The Asset Manager will:

  • Be the client point of contact & address client’s request pertaining to the asset managed
  • Prepare client reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual)
  • Address client requests whether as part of the existing contract or as part of Additional Services
  • Manage assets on day-to-day basis
  • Perform Operational Controller duties plus on call duties, including weekends
  • Be responsible for daily turbine / solar status monitoring
  • Carry out performance analysis
  • Be responsible for Turbine/PV site Logbook monitoring
  • Complete Initial fault investigation
  • Monitor SPV stakeholder, OEM and Service Provider performance and contractual obligations
  • Carry out turbine /solar site inspections – GWO training to be provided
  • Look for technical improvement solutions and support proposing additional works for existing clients
  • Responsible for general administration of each project
  • Ensure HSE & statutory compliance of the asset
  • Create & Review Health and Safety documentations
  • Support in establishing annual planned spendings for asset managed
  • When needed, represent Greensolver in industry events and workshops
  • Follow internal guidelines and processes

The Asset Manager will also:

  • Monitor the profitability of Asset Management contracts with its Clients (hours and cost spent)
  • Manage the Client relationship by ensuring good Satisfactory rate and proactively propose Improvement/extra services to maximize the Asset value /generation etc… through Upsells
  • If applicable, Management of Asset Manager(s) supporting for the Portfolio under management
  • Organizing regular meetings to ensure the good quality of our Contractual compliances issuance
  • Supporting to orientate the Corrective action resolution
  • Content Creation & Sharing: Develop and share engaging content that showcases Greensolver’s activities, successes, on social media platforms such as LinkedIn

The post will involve eventual travel to production sites in the UK and also abroad.

Climbing wind turbines will be necessary sometimes. This post is therefore not recommended for people susceptible to dizziness or with cardiac problems.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. On-call duty is to be expected (on-call by telephone, not requiring travel).

The post may require to carry out similar tasks on PV, BESS assets.

Location: UK, either remote or based in our London office. Travel to Greensolver's London office (quarterly) and UK sites required.

Qualifications

Skills & experience

  • Degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering field
  • Valid driving licence for use within UK

Experience

  • 3-5 years' experience in the renewables sector, preferably with technical asset management experience

Skills

  • Customer orientated and good communication in English (both in written reports and verbally in client meetings)
  • Organised and able to multi-task
  • Good at working in a team
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office

Salary: depending on experience, with variable bonus based on objectives.
