Wind Turbine Engineer (National Patch)
£35,000 - £45,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Unlimited Overtime + Company Benefits + Vestas Training
Liverpool - National Patch (UK Travel Required)
Are you a Wind Turbine Engineer looking to significantly increase your earnings while receiving specialist training on Vestas turbines and developing your career within the renewable energy sector?
This UK-based renewable energy specialist provides nationwide operation, maintenance, and technical support for onshore wind turbines in the 200kW to 850kW range. Operating across England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, the company delivers high-quality O&M, performance optimisation, technical upgrades, and asset support to maximise turbine availability and long-term value.
In this role, you will:
- Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on onshore wind turbines across the UK.
- Be responsible for servicing, inspection, fault-finding, and repair of turbine mechanical systems, component replacement, report completion, and working safely at height across remote wind farm sites.
- Receive specialist training to further develop your technical skills within the renewable energy industry.

This role would suit a mechanically biased engineer with proven wind turbine experience who is looking for a varied, field-based position with excellent overtime opportunities and long-term career progression.
The Role:
- Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on onshore wind turbines
- Servicing, inspection, and mechanical fault finding on turbine systems
- Repair and replacement of mechanical components in line with OEM standards
- Supporting hydraulic and electrical works where required
- Working safely at height in remote wind farm environments
- National travel across the UK with weekly stayaways as required
- Door-to-door pay and unlimited overtime available
- Monday-Friday, no on-call rota
The Person:
- Proven experience working on wind turbines or equipment
- Comfortable working at height and in varying weather conditions
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to travel nationally
