Main Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and servicing of wind turbines and associated balance of plant equipment, including scheduled servicing, reactive and preventative maintenance, inspections, modifications, retrofits, and major component replacements.
- Work effectively within a small team while operating with minimal supervision.
- Adopt a proactive and flexible approach to minimise equipment failures and maximise energy production.
- Utilise SCADA and other computer-based systems to diagnose faults, reset alarms, initiate maintenance activities, and maintain fault history records.
- Maintain flexibility regarding working hours to accommodate weather conditions, workload demands, on-call requirements, and travel to alternative sites when necessary.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based maintenance records for all work completed.
- Support all areas of site operations, including projects, spare parts management, and non-routine maintenance activities.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) procedures and management systems.
- Proactively identify and take ownership of tasks or improvement initiatives related to safety, equipment performance, and operational efficiency.

Key Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified to HNC, ONC, NVQ, or equivalent level in a relevant mechanical or electrical discipline.
- Full GWO certification, including Enhanced First Aid and Advanced Rescue.
- Proven experience in wind turbine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical background with experience using advanced tools and diagnostic equipment, including hydraulic systems, inductive heaters, and electrical test instruments.
- Sound understanding of HSSE systems and safe working practices.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to performance and continuous improvement.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and power electronics fault finding and maintenance.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve faults on complex technical systems.
- Competent Slinger/Signaller (Banksman).
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a small team environment.
- Willingness to travel to support other operational sites when required.
- Full UK driving licence.

- Full GWO certification.
