Experienced Wind Turbine Technician / Travel Technician

We’re Looking For Technicians With Experience On:
- Vestas
- Siemens
- Gamesa
- Senvion
- GE
Experience across multiple platforms is highly desirable, although we welcome applications from technicians with strong experience on any of the above.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Wind Turbine Technician.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work safely at height.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home for up to 2 weeks when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on onshore wind turbines.
- Perform major component exchanges, including:
- Gearboxes
- Generators
- Main shafts
- Blade bearings
- Transformers
- Complete servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
- Support retrofit, upgrade, and modification campaigns across multiple turbine technologies.
- Undertake troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Assist with walk-downs, site support, and manpower requirements for customer projects.
- Complete all service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all company, client, and industry health and safety procedures.
- Represent Vortex Renewable Services professionally while building strong relationships with customers and contractors.
