We are seeking experienced Wind Turbine Technicians and Authorised Technicians to support ongoing service and maintenance operations across multiple wind farm sites throughout Scotland, with a particular focus on the Central Belt.
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting, and component repairs on Vestas V47 and V52 wind turbines. Working as part of a two-person team, you will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, support corrective maintenance activities, and ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and health and safety requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced wind turbine professionals looking for ongoing work across multiple wind farm sites. The role offers covered travel expenses, accommodation, meals, and access to a company vehicle where applicable, alongside opportunities for further training and professional development. Previous experience with Vestas V47 or V52 turbines is preferred, although candidates with relevant experience on similar Vestas platforms will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and preventative servicing and maintenance on Vestas V47 and V52 wind turbines.
- Perform reactive maintenance, fault finding, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve turbine operational issues.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, ensuring efficient and effective repairs.
- Undertake component repairs and replacements where required to maintain turbine performance and reliability.
- Support breakdown response and corrective maintenance activities across multiple wind farm sites.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Complete accurate service reports, maintenance records, and relevant technical documentation.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a two-person team and wider technical workforce.
- Travel between wind farm sites across Scotland, including locations throughout the Central Belt.
- For Authorised Technician positions, undertake authorised switching and operational duties within the individual’s level of authorisation.

Your Profile
- Previous professional experience working as a Wind Turbine Technician.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Experience carrying out planned servicing, preventative maintenance, and corrective repairs on wind turbines.
- Valid Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training and certification.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Comfortable working at height and travelling between multiple wind farm sites.
- Strong commitment to health and safety procedures, quality standards, and safe working practices.
- Ability to work independently when required and contribute effectively within a technical team.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working on Vestas V47 and/or V52 wind turbines.
- Relevant experience servicing and maintaining similar Vestas turbine platforms.
- Authorised Technician experience for positions involving authorised switching and operational responsibilities.
