Location: Cheltenham, UK
Work Model: Remote within the UK
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Rate: £375 - £400 Per/day (Inside IR 35)

Are you an experienced Windchill Administrator looking for an opportunity to work on a major aerospace programme? We are seeking an SC Cleared professional to provide hands-on Windchill administration and development support, working closely with technical leads, architects, and customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure PTC Windchill environments, supporting day-to-day platform operations.
  • Support Windchill installations, upgrades, patches, and hotfixes across cloud environments.
  • Configure and maintain Windchill workflows, lifecycles, ACLs, soft types, and system configurations.
  • Support Windchill customisation, including data utilities, form validators, and loader mechanisms.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using JDBC and APIs, working with relevant database technologies.
  • Support data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and successful transfer between environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windchill application, integration, performance, and data-related issues.
  • Monitor system and database performance and implement configuration improvements where required.
  • Work with PTC support, database/network teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Windchill platform and support processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in Windchill Administration.
  • Good experience with Windchill Customisation.
  • Knowledge of Windchill data utilities, form validators, and loader mechanisms.
  • Strong understanding of Windchill soft typing and ACLs.
  • Experience configuring Workflows and Lifecycles.
  • Experience with JDBC and API development.
  • Working knowledge of MS SQL and/or Oracle.
  • Experience with Git, JIRA, and DevOps tools.
  • Applicants must have an active SC Clearance and British Citizenship.

  • Strong scripting experience for migration activities.

  • Previous Windchill Bulk Migration experience.
