For over 60 years, the company has supplied and installed double glazed windows, doors, and conservatories for customers across Surrey and the South East. It installs high-quality timber, aluminium and PVC-U products. Its long-standing, stable history and diverse product range offer customers reassurance, choice, and solutions that fit a wide range of property types and budgets.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sutton for Window and Door Installers. The role involves installing double glazed windows, doors, and conservatories to a high standard, ensuring accurate measurements, safe handling of materials, and proper fitting and sealing. Installers will prepare work areas, remove existing units, perform adjustments, and complete finishing work such as trim, sealant, and final checks. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting installation plans, using hand and power tools, collaborating with colleagues and supervisors, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. The role also includes communicating professionally with customers, addressing basic queries on-site, and completing job reports or documentation as required.

- Relevant experience in window, door, or glazing installation, including confident use of hand and power tools and familiarity with timber, aluminium and PVC-U products.
- Strong practical skills in measuring, cutting, fitting, sealing, and finishing, with good attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of site safety practices, manual handling, and safe use of equipment, with a commitment to following health and safety procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with customers and work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Good problem-solving abilities for on-site adjustments, basic troubleshooting of installation issues, and adapting to different property types.
- Physical fitness suitable for lifting, carrying, and working at heights or on ladders, and comfort working in varied weather conditions.
- Valid UK driving licence and reliable transport to reach sites across Surrey and the South East.
- Previous experience in double glazing or construction and relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeships are beneficial.
